Learn to resurface your old bathtub

Has your bathtub become old? Instead of replacing it, consider resurfacing it. Resurfacing or remodeling your bathtub will help you save money. You just need to remove the aged layers of your bathtub and replace it with a new coat to resurface it.

You can resurface your bathtub yourself for which you will need a bathtub resurfacing kit. First clean your bathtub properly. Use the cleaning solution in the kit. Next you have to sand down your bathtub. Use a sand paper suitable for bathtubs and sinks. Next remove the old primer with the help of the primer reducer.

Lastly apply the new primer and wait for 30 minutes for it to dry. Apply the final coat of epoxy which is there in your kit. You need to wait for 48 hours for it to dry after which you can use your bathtub once again. Open your windows or bathroom vents when you apply the primer and epoxy.
