Decorating a room for the kids is the most difficult job. For decorating the room various factors that should be kept in mind are age, sex, likings, nature etc. The first basic thing while decorating the teen room is the colour scheme of the room. Colour should be selected according to the nature of the teen.

Variety of strong colours can be used in the room of confident teen. Contrasting colour can also be used in teen’s room. Light colour and modern furniture can be used for the fun loving kind of a teen. If the kid is having great interest in sports then his or her room should consists minimum furniture, laminated furniture with cool shades and red or any other hot colour can be used on the walls.

Teen room can be decorated with soft beanbags, funky lamp shades, and cartoon character paintings on the walls and with some soft toys etc.
